Small Business Articles - Great Exposure For Your Business
Saturday, July 02, 2011 5:11 AMadmin

Using the internet to build your business, it works equally well for an online or offline business, and is a great way to increase your exposure to get more customers. And one of the best resources available on the internet is small business articles. When you write an article and submit it to an article directory or a blog, you are vastly increasing the exposure of your business.

To get the maximum exposure there are a few things you're going to need to do. For one thing you'll want to make sure that your article is optimized with keywords. And not just any keywords either, you have to focus only on those keywords that have fairly high monthly searches and low competition. It's definitely a balancing act. If you target keywords that have a lot of searches they will most likely have too much competition and will be virtually impossible for you to get a good ranking for.

If you focus on keywords that don't have enough searches it won't get you very much traffic for your efforts. Everyone has their own opinion of what a 'good number of searches' and 'low competition' really means. I've always used the guide line of at least 1,500 searches a month and less than 20,000 in competition and it's worked very well.

Find your own guide lines and determine what works best for your niche.

Now that you've got a list of 10-20 keywords for your niche, it's time to write several articles for each keyword. If you have 10 keywords you can write 3-5 articles for each keyword. This will give you a lot of great exposure online. Make sure each article is slightly unique from the last.

Now,you will submit those articles to article directories online so they can be published. Don't worry about the 'published' part. As long as your article is written in accordance with their rules it will be published.

One thing to remember, most article directories won't let you do any direct 'selling' in your article. You will need to provide useful information but the selling needs to be done in the resource box at the end of the article. This is where you can put a link to your website that people can click on and be taken to your site.

The resource box is your place to shine. Make sure you make it something interesting. Pique your readers curiosity and interest. The more compelling you make it the more likely they are to click on the link and check out your site.which is exactly what you want to happen.

This method can work very well for most any type of business. The internet is an amazing resource for business owners and it would be just plain silly to not take full advantage of all it has to offer. Even if you can't stand the idea of writing you can take full advantage of small business articles. You can always hire someone to do your writing for you. You can find many good writers who would be willing to write your articles for you for only a few dollars each.

Sales And Marketing Articles - Right Time - Right Message

Sales And Marketing Articles - Right Time - Right Message

When it comes to making the most of your online sales and marketing articles it's really a matter of getting the right message in front of the right people. Sounds simple, doesn't it? And while it's not that hard, it will take some trial and error. Don't expect to hit it out of the park your first try. You might, but it will be almost guaranteed to be a fluke and probably won't be repeated.

Instead view your marketing as a work in progress. You will want to test various keywords and articles to see which ones perform the best for you. You should be willing to invest several weeks, or months, to find just the right 'formula'. Once you've got it dialed in that's when the magic happens. Once you know that you've got a winning article all you have to do is rewrite it, keeping the focus and the keywords the same but changing it just enough to make it unique, and re-submit it.

Do this with several sets of keywords and you're going to get all the traffic you will need. And, that traffic will be highly targeted and totally free!

Another thing to remember is that there are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of online article directories that will accept your well written, unique article and publish it. You don't have to worry about being rejected, you're not submitting a novel. As long as you follow their terms of service and abide by their rules your article will be published.

There are two schools of thought as to how many articles you should submit. Some say submit as many articles to as many directories as is humanly possible, while others say it's about quality over quantity. In other words, several well written, keyword optimized articles will give you all the traffic you need so you don't have to submit hundreds of articles.

Personally, I think an approach that lands somewhere in the middle of these two extremes is best. Submit a lot of articles, about 50, using several keywords spread out over the articles. Submit them to several online article directories.

Another thing to keep in mind to increase the effectiveness of your articles is that they must be on topic. If you're selling product or services in the dog grooming niche you wouldn't write an article about bird watching, would you? Believe it or not that is exactly the type of mistake many people make. Keep your articles tightly focused on your niche market and their needs

When you write your resource or authors box make it something compelling. Don't just say, 'click here for more information". Yawn. Instead be intriguing and tease your readers. Pique their curiosity or offer them something free if they click through to your site.

To get the most out of your sales and marketing articles just use common sense. Provide your readers with a well written, informative, keyword optimized article and a strong call to action in your resources box and this is an extremely cost effective method of getting hordes of hungry visitors to your website.

Online Marketing Articles - 5 Article Tips
Thursday, June 30, 2011 1:05 AMadmin

One of the great advantages of doing business online is the multitude of cheap, or free, advertising options. One of the absolute most effective (and most cost effective) is online marketing articles. Using articles to drive traffic to your website is very effective for a lot of reasons.

here are the reasons that article marketing is such a great tool in your online tool box;

1. It's easy and free. Unlike other forms of online advertising that take a lot of time to learn or you need to test over and over again, article marketing is very simple right out of the gates. And even if you do need to refine your skills a little bit when you first start out, it won't cost you a dime. You can submit as many articles as you want for free. The tools you need to do your keyword research are free. It's a totally free method so you won't be ig if you do make a mistake.

2. You can establish instant credibility. Anyone reading your informative article will view you as an authority and will be more likely to trust you. If you make a recommendation for a product or service they'll be much more likely to take your recommendation and make a purchase.

3. A well written article that targets the right keyword, can stay in circulation for months or even years. SO basically, you do it once (if you do it right) you can get traffic for a long time to come.

4. If you hate the idea of writing you can hire someone to do it for you. You can hire a writer for as little as $5 to $10 dollars per 500 word article.

5. There are many software products and companies that will help you write and distribute your articles for you. This amount of automation can help you get a lot of articles out in a short amount of time. That amount of automation will allow you more time to take care of the other aspects of your business.

These are just a few of the reasons why you should use article marketing to help build your online business. IT just makes good sense. You will need to make sure to carefully choose the keywords that you use in your articles. You don't want to just use the keyword that gets the highest search, though it may be tempting, but if you do there will simply be too much competition.

Instead, make sure you pick a keyword phrase that will get good monthly searches but not have too much competition. Generally, you'll want long tail keywords, keyword phrases that are two or more words in length. These long tail keywords will still do well for you but they won't have nearly as much competition.

there are many great aways of using the internet to drive traffic to your business, whether your business is online or off. One of the best forms is online marketing article Articles, if done right, are extremely effective and the best par tis that they are free to use. There is very little learning curve involved so you can be up and running in no time at all.

Marketing Your Video - 5 Minutes Of Quality
Tuesday, June 28, 2011 5:41 PMadmin

When it comes to that all important website traffic, it's important to use whatever tools you can online, and it gets easier all the time. With more and more tools available, and some of the older tools simply aren't working as well, you can get more qualified traffic for less money. Using videos to drive traffic is definitely a growing trend, but to get the most out of the process you may need help marketing your video.

Of course, pretty much everyone has heard of YouTube and this is a great place to start. You can even get your own YouTube channel and have others follow you. This is a great way to establish yourself as a leader and someone that other's would benefit from following.

Of course YouTube isn't the only show in town, there are hundreds of online video directories where you can upload your videos. To make sure that your videos will actually accomplish for you what you want them to, make sure you take the time to make a quality video. Don't try and throw something together in a few minutes.

A quality video doesn't have to be professionally done. As a matter of fact a more personal approach usually works best. Having said that though, there are some things your video must have.

For one thing, it has to have decent video. If people can't see what you're doing or the video keeps breaking up, they'll stop watching and any advantage you may have had will be gone.

Secondly, the audio must be clear. Again, if the viewer can't hear or understand what is being said they will just click away. It's not just about the quality of the microphone either, it's also about what you're saying and how you're saying it. Are you stuttering and stammering throughout the whole video?

If so that's a real turnoff. It's much better to redo sections of the video instead of sounding nervous or like you don't know what you're talking about. After all, the whole point here is to personalize the experience for the viewer and let them get to know you, if they don't like you it's not going to do much good, is it?

Don't make your video too long. Most online videos should be only an introduction and that means just a few minutes long. Usually around 5 minutes maximum is good. This isn't the place to teach them all your knowledge, in most cases they'll have to pay for that. This is the place you want to prove to them that you can help them. How? Simple, help them. Give them a short solution to some problem they are facing.

OK, so the video is decent quality: the audio, video and narration are clear, easy to follow and on target. Now what?

Well, now you need to use keywords to optimize your search engine rankings for your video. When you submit your video to video directories you will need to fill out a short from. That form will consist of title, description and tags. This is where you'll put the keywords that you've gathered for this niche. That way your video will get a top ranking for one or more of those keywords which means people will be able to find it when they do a search which is what marketing your video is all about.

Google Keywords Tool - 3 Tips Plus More
Tuesday, June 28, 2011 12:25 AMadmin

The internet is the only place I know of where you can get access to so many valuable tools for free. One of the most widely used of these free tools is the Google keywords tool. This online resource is available to everyone who wants to use it and the best part about it, besides the fact that it's free, is the fact that it's very easy to use.

Don't let it's ease of use and the fact that it's free distract you from the real power of this tool. There are very few things you can do online from a marketing standpoint (actually there may not be any. I can't think of one right at the moment) where you don't need a great list of highly searched for keywords.

Who better to turn to for that information than the biggest search engine around? They most certainly have access to what their searchers are looking for online as well as what words and phrases they are using for that search.

Most of the time, it will make sense to follow some basic steps when undertaking keyword research:

1. First things first. Use your head, think up a list of 10 or so 'base keywords'. These are very general keywords and would probably be too broad and too competitive for you to target, they are just the first step.

2. Take your preliminary list and head over to the research tool. Plug each of these broad keyword phrases into the software, it's very easy. Each of the broad phrases will give you a smaller, more drilled down list. Some of the words and phrases will show up more than once, but you will get some new phrases. Also, not all the phrases will work for your niche, but again, you'll get some ideas of other possible keywords.

3. From these two steps you'll probably already have a pretty long keyword list. A few things you'll need to remember is that these lists will be good, but don't think for one minute that all of the good keywords will be included on the list. they won't be.

Also, don't make the mistake of paying too much attention to the estimates of cost per click, average monthly searches or competition. These are only broad ideas.

Many new online marketers will make a huge mistake when it comes to keyword research. They will focus on the most highly searched phrases they can find. They will figure that if that many people are using a certain keyword than it will make sense for them to use that keyword and benefit from all that traffic.

Sounds good, doesn't it? The only problem is that hundreds of thousands of other online marketers have the same idea. The keyword may get a ton of searches but it's also going to have a ton of competition.

Instead focus on those keywords that 'fly under the radar'. They still get a lot of monthly searches, but they aren't as competitive which means you'll have an easier time of getting ranked for those keywords and/ or you'll pay less per click for those keywords. All this information will be yours when you use the Google keywords tool.
